David Halpert, MD

About

Dr. Halpert earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in biochemistry from Harvard University. Prior to joining Cayuga Medical Associates he was director of the departments of neurology and newborn neurology at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, where he also served as director of the designated stroke center.  Dr. Halpert is the medical director of the Stroke Team at Cayuga Medical Center and works exclusively at Cayuga Medical Center as a neuroshospitalist, which is a neurologist who sees only in-patients.
