Sponsorship & Event Support Policy
As an essential organization within our region, Cayuga Health is committed to being a robust and active partner to our community organizations. One of the ways we do this is by providing support and sponsorship dollars to a select number of events and activities for organizations that improve the lives of those who live and work in the areas we serve. In doing so, we focus on the Health System’s strategic priorities with an emphasis on health, wellness, equity, and access to healthcare.
Sponsorship requests must be made one month in advance of event. Please allow for 14 days for consideration.
To be eligible to receive support at least one of the following criteria must be met:
- not-for-profit organizations
- organizations/events which improve access to health care services
- organizations/events which enhance the health of our community
- organizations/events which advance health knowledge in our community
- organizations/events which support improvement in diversity, equity, and inclusion
- community partners in delivering critical programs and care in the community
- support good corporate citizenship and solidify business relationships
Special consideration is given to organizations/event which have received past support.
Sponsorship requests must be made in writing. The organization requesting funds must:
- provide their mission statement
- state how the funds will be use
- provide a full list of sponsorship levels
- contain event details, with a list of other sponsors, and
- include contact information
Exclusions:
- Cayuga Health will not support organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability with respect to employment, volunteer participation, or the provision of services
- Financial requests for capital campaigns or activities that do not advance our public or corporate purpose are typically not funded
