Jamie Katz, MD

About

Dr. Katz graduated with top honors from New York University with a BA degree majoring in Romance languages and a minor in education. Before beginning her medical training, she taught elementary school in south Texas with Teach For America. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. While in medical school, she did clinical research on the socio-economic and cultural factors that influence access to medical care of Spanish-speaking families.

Dr. Katz completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where she stayed on as faculty for a year before joining Northeast Pediatrics in 2020. Dr. Katz is board certified in pediatrics. Her personal interests include reading, hiking, and vegetarian cooking. She is fluent in spoken and written Spanish and conversational in French.
