Laurie Bitting, PA

About

Laurie joined Cayuga Medical Associates in July of 2015, moving from Virginia, where she had been working with Bone and Joint Specialists of Winchester. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from The Pennsylvania State University in 1987, and a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University in 1989. Her professional interests have always centered on sports medicine and orthopedics. Prior to pursuing her physician assistant degree, she worked for fifteen years as a certified athletic trainer and clinical professor at Ithaca College. She returned to school in 2005 to obtain her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated in 2007 and has worked in orthopedics ever since.
