Local Traveler Program
Cayuga Health System’s local traveler program is a great alternative to working with traditional travel agencies. When you join Cayuga Health’s team, you will go through the same orientation as our permanent staff members to help you be successful during your time with us. Contracts are available for 13 weeks, 6 months, or 1 year, and pay is set based on market rates. You are able to customize your experience by working with our Clinical Education team to assess your skillset, and determine which unit(s) you would work in, and your flexible schedule would be set. Schedule blocks are 8 weeks long, and you will know your upcoming schedule 4 weeks before the scheduling block starts. Contracts may include planned time off, and for longer contracts, time off may be approved as things arise.
