Cayuga Health is pleased to announce the opening of one of their state-of-the-art laboratory services at Cayuga Health at the Ithaca Mall. Starting Monday, July 8, patients can conveniently access lab work in the same building as the newly consolidated primary care, cardiology, and rheumatology offices.
The strategic placement of the laboratory within the Ithaca Mall facility, located at 40 Catherwood Road in Ithaca, ensures seamless coordination for patients at the new medical practices. Now, patients can have lab work done before or after appointments, eliminating the need to travel to another location.
“The new laboratory services at Cayuga Health at the Ithaca Mall exemplify our commitment to patient convenience and integrated care,” said Jeffrey Penoyer, Chief Operating Officer, Cayuga Medical Associates. “By offering lab work in the same location as our primary care, cardiology, and rheumatology services, we streamline the healthcare experience for our patients and enhance their access to timely medical attention.”
The Ithaca Mall location offers ample parking and is located on a bus route, providing increased accessibility for all patients in our communities. The location is also a short drive from downtown Ithaca, Cayuga Medical Center, and other Cayuga Medical Associates practices.
Cayuga Health at Ithaca Mall opened in March. The more than 60,000 square foot space consolidated several practices into one location, allowing for more collaboration among caregivers and improved accessibility for patients.
The new lab will be open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding major holidays. Lab services will continue to be available at other current Cayuga Health locations.
