Cayuga Medical Center and Schuyler Hospital have earned The Leapfrog Group’s Full Transparency badge, recognizing their commitment to giving patients and families access to information about the care they provide.
Newly introduced this year, the badge recognizes hospitals that complete, affirm and submit all sections of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. This annual, voluntary survey makes information about participating hospitals’ patient safety and quality performance available to the public.
The Leapfrog Hospital Survey helps hospitals assess their performance against national safety and quality measures. Sharing those results gives patients and families another resource to help them make informed decisions about where to receive care.
For Centralus Health, full participation in the survey supports an ongoing commitment to measuring performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and building trust through open reporting.
