The Cayuga Health System, comprised of Schuyler Hospital and Cayuga Medical Center, is partnering with Schuyler County Public Health to bring the second annual Schuyler Family Fit Fest to Montour Falls on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
The Schuyler Family Fit Fest will feature Strong Kids Safe Kids and other health-oriented interactive activities, combined with food, entertainment, games and giveaways. Plus, dancing vegetables, and the Elmira Enforcers’ Captain K9.
No parking will be allowed on festival grounds, to make room for the following displays: Watkins Glen International’s Pace Car, Montour Falls Fire Department’s Ladder Truck, Schuyler Ambulance (tentative), and the LifeNet Medivac helicopter.
This free event will take place rain or shine from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Montour Falls Festival Grounds on State Route 224.
Demonstrations will include the Schuyler County Sheriff’s K9 program, Four Dragons Martial Arts, Leslie School of Dance, Cross Fit 607, and line dancing.
Nearly 40 organizations will offer hands-on activities for kids to adults, with a focus on health and wellness. Kids who participate in Strong Kids Safe Kids will receive a free lunch.
