The Most Advanced 3D Mammography
What should I expect during your exam?
The process of our 3D Mammography exam is the same as your conventional 2D exam.
The technologist will position you, compress your breast, and take images from different angles. There’s no additional compression required with the 3D Mammography exam, and it only takes a few extra seconds for an exam, proven to be more accurate.1-6
When will I receive the results?
The technologist will view the images of your breasts at the computer workstation to ensure quality images have been captured for review.
After receiving your mammogram, our team of radiologists will review the images and inform you of your results via mail within 3 to 5 business days. If further screening is required, our office will contact you to schedule a follow-up appointment.
What should I know about breast density?
Breast consists of two types of tissue that appear differently on a mammogram, including fatty and dense tissue. Dense breast tissue appears whiter on the mammogram image, making it more difficult for radiologist to see cancer (if present) and increasing the need for follow-up imaging. Cancer is easier to see in fatty breasts.
Why does breast density matter?
Having dense breasts is very common, but it does increase your risk for developing breast cancer. Knowing your density and discussing it with your doctor is important to ensure you are receiving the most effective screening.
Better, earlier breast cancer detection than 2D mammography alone
Greater peace of mind – Reduces unnecessary callbacks by up to 40%
More accurate – Finds 20-65% more invasive breast cancers compared to 2D alone, an average increase of 41%.

“I have to say the last couple visits that I’ve had here have been wonderful. About a month ago I had an EGD and the staff were amazing! Explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease. I was very nervous and the nurse I had was very comforting. Tonight we had to take my son to the emergency room and they were awesome with him! We got right in. “
